How well I sleep has a knock-on effect on my ability to stay in control of exercise, fasting, hydration and diet. Good quality sleep makes all the difference to my mental and physical well-being.
Intermittent fasting, time-restricted eating, water fasting, alternate day fasting – a fasting lifestyle is proving to be a powerful health & weight loss tool and has helped me overcome food cravings.
We all know how important staying hydrated is but when it comes to the 5 Steps to Well-Being, I find it makes fasting easier, makes exercise more enjoyable and makes me choose healthier foods.
Gentle, regular exercise (plus the occasional HIIT workout!) helps to lift my mood, keep me supple and improve my sleep. Daily walks are particularly good – getting outdoors in the fresh air first thing really boosts my day.
A low-carb, high-fat diet that focuses on natural fats whilst minimising processed, refined foods has taken food cravings away and boosted my mental & physical health
